Thanks to Direct Injection (DI) technology, this engine uses high-pressure injectors (26,000 psi) to atomize diesel fuel directly into each cylinder’s combustion chamber. Joystick Piloting for Inboards.

The TDI engine block is made from Vermicular Graphite Casting (VGC), a material that’s 5-10% lighter than grey iron while offering twice the strength.
